Hart-to-Hart Farm & Education Center is collaborating with Colby College Museum of Art t brings American artist Alex Katz alive on the farm. Under the guidance of local artist Carrie Haberstock, participants will create a water paper collage utilizing Alex Katz style. Workshop includes all materials and is geared towards families. Sign up is required in advance as spots are limited. Please contact Linda Hartkopf to reserve your spot. Max: 20
After the workshop, participants can tour the farm and try their hand at milking Kelp, our lovable Jersey cow! A picnic area is available for families to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the farm.
Donations are suggested as proceeds goes to Hart-to-Hart Farm & Education Center‘s for future programs.

Katz was introduced to the College in the 1950s and has been tremendously active since, receiving an honorary doctorate from the College in 1984, serving on several museum committees, currently on the Museum’s board of governors along as being a summer resident of Lincolnville, Maine. The Museum is fortunate to have nearly 900 Katz works in its’ collection. Please feel free to visit the Colby College Museum of Art where visitors can enjoy Katz’s work in the Paul J. Schupf Wing for the Works of Alex Katz, where a select amount of his work is on permeant display.
